What is it?

VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE, a drive which controls your pumps speed.

Why you need it?

Controlling your pumps speed will allow for the pumps to be more energy efficient. VFD’s will slowly turn pumps on and off removing water hammer from any pipes. Removing the water hammer will help make the equipment related to the pump station last longer. VFD’S can be put on sewage pumps, storm drain pumps and booster pumps.
